Randstad joined forces with Vip District in the pandemic to address its HR challenges. Their primary objective at that time, was to expand their employee benefit package, thus increasing their purchasing power. The first step in the initiative was the introduction of the Discount Club module. The collaboration then evolved into the creation of a multifaceted platform that streamlined Randstad’s internal HR processes, additionally introducing reward and incentive programmes. Together they managed not only to achieve the expected results, but to exceed them and have a global impact on Randstad’s human resources management.
Randstad’s HR department had previously established partnerships providing employee discounts, but this setup lacked complete digital integration. Moreover, their platform was not user-friendly and the e-commerce partner network was also notably limited, meaning partnership management was a time-consuming task for the team.
Another challenge lay in administering employee incentives. The management, delivery and control process was very manual, extremely slow and complex.
