Wind the clock back to summer 2015 and we were enjoying a catch up with some great VAs at a pub in Paternoster Square. Both running our own successful businesses, we talked around our struggles to find great VA support to build our own teams and support us on our journeys. “Wouldn’t it be great if we had somewhere where we could network, knowledge share and build a team with like-minded VAs who are serious about their businesses and do what they say then can do?”. Lightbulb Moment…
“And wouldn’t it be great if we could link those VAs up with high performing business owners who are looking for that key support at a high level to grow their businesses too!?”
Fast-forward back to present day and here we are. We have a great membership community, a gaggle of happy clients and a coaching/training offering to help transform awesome PAs into awesome VAs. It has been a roller-coaster and a fast paced journey, but we believe in our passion and purpose: to give VAs and business owners true access to excellence.
Team VIP VA
CEO & Founder
Charlotte Wibberley is an Online Business Manager enabling entrepreneurs and business owners to have the freedom to do what they do best and follow their passion.
2012 saw Charlotte leap into self-employment starting her first online business, a multi-award winning VA business. This success enabled her to find her passion in supporting successful women juggling family and business as their OBM. Charlotte is the extra pair of hands, the like-minded buddy and chief cheerleader for businesses goals and ambitions. She loves helping clients achieve their goals they secretly dared to desire but feared to hope and aim for!
Charlotte also coaches and mentors VAs looking to build their businesses, grow their teams and achieve their dreams. Seeing people grow and build successful businesses around their lifestyles is close to Charlotte’s heart: it is one of her passions and key purposes.
Outside of work Charlotte is mum to Alex, 3 and Evie, 1 who keep her busy and out of trouble! She also enjoys going to the gym and the rare date night with her fellow entrepreneurial husband, Andrew.
Claire launched her VA business in February 2017 and joined the VIP VA team a few months after that, after a chance meeting with Charlotte in a lift at a PA networking event. Both realised quite quickly that, although quite different, together they were a pretty awesome team!
In her VA business, Claire loves the challenge clients who need fixing! Those who need both a Business Manager and an Assistant who can help them with the strategy for their business alongside the tasks that require you to roll up your sleeves and save them from expenses & diary hell.
Claire’s background as a traditional EA and Business Manager for an MD of a bank has given her plenty experience in her 15-year career. From Projects & Events Management to Business Development and everything in between. However, when opportunity to set up a VA business presented itself, Claire gave up the London life to set up a flexible business that would work on her terms, for the benefit of her family.
Claire lives in Surrey and is mum to 4-year-old Matilda who loves all things pink & can usually be found with a colouring book & pens. Any spare time left is training to be a Digital Mum and on seemingly never ending house renovations!
Amanda Slack is a former music industry legal PA turned creative and techie VA specialising in brand and online marketing support for entrepreneurs and small business owners. Amanda took the plunge and launched her business in 2014 and hasn’t looked back since.
Amanda is fiercely passionate about brand consistency and making automation simple for business owners. The mechanic in your business keeping the systems and cogs turning.
Amanda is also an Infusionsoft whizz (or guru according to Charlotte!) and excels at building campaigns to support her clients in their quest to monetise their businesses.
Outside of business, Amanda is a busy mum to 12 year old Jake and 3 year old Lola, loves getting creative with Playdoh, kitchen discos and gigs, theatre and fine dining with her scientist/part time thespian husband Ian.
